California Oranges

Days get shorter at the end of the year
While nights by the fire grow long
Another year passes like a swallow flying south
To find a land where it's warm
California oranges hang like ornaments
From branches full of green leaves
Gingerbread cookies baking in the oven
We've got plenty sweet to eat
The cold air outside
Makes it even cozier at home
So grab your favorite blanket
And won't you sing along?
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
We wish you a merry Christmas
And a happy new year!

Camarillo Christmas

Here we are for a Camarillo Christmas
Now it's time to open a bottle of wine
For family coming together
To celebrate the end of twenty twenty-one
Isn't is strange that we keep getting older?
Soon the kids will be having more kids
But there's a time that I can remember
When we were young, just having fun!
Little baby
I'm just a poor boy too
I have no gift to bring
So then instead I'll sing
Pa rum pa pum pum
What shall I play for you?
How 'bout a little tune?
The ox and lamb keep time
In town the church bells chime
Pa rum pa pum pum
Me and my drum
